Nine holes.
Ninety minutes.

What is Sandbox

You play the person in front of you, hole by hole. Win it, halve it, or lose it.

Every match plays all nine holes, even after it’s decided.

How it works

1. 01Tell us when you can play. A window, not a tee time — “any time between 5 and 8.”
2. 02We match you with other players and send you your tee time.

The rating

Every result moves your Sandbox Rating, the gold standard for rating players in match play. It runs from 2.000 to 8.000.

Not a handicap. It’s how we find you a game worth playing.
